SHOW REVIEW: A Stellar Stadium Tour Full of Classic Hits

Updated: Aug 6, 2023

For me growing up, and for a lot of people I grew up with, we all had someone who influenced our music taste. I grew up around a lot of the older rock bands. You know the ones. Poison, Metallica, AC/DC, Motley Crue... I got the chance to go out to one of the shows on The Stadium Tour, which is a stacked line up of Joan Jett and the Black Hearts, Posion, Motley Crue, and Def Leppard.

Let’s start with Joan Jett, while they started out a little tame, their energy soon matched with the crowd. Performing tracks “Cherry Bomb”, “I Love Rock and Roll”, “I Hate Myself For Loving You”, and quite a few more. They definitely put on a hell of a show!

Moving on to Poison, Bret Michaels energy is unmatched. From telling stories between songs, and interacting with people in the crowd, it was such a genuinely good time. Poison was definitely my favorite sets of the night.

Now to Motley Crue, they always kill it. Graphics, lights, “Girls Girls Girls.”

Def leppard, the final act of the night, truly took my breath away. A band I never listened to much, yet seeing them definitely changed my tune.

All in all, I’d say this tour was not one to miss! I met people from all over and had a blast. Every single act on the bill killed it. And who doesn’t love a show that starts at 4 pm and ends by 11! My honest rating, 9/10.
